Q&A

Where are you/will you be conducting your research/fieldwork?

I’m conducting ethnographic fieldwork working in Native-led Indigenous food revitalization organizations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is to better understand the breadth of food justice and food sovereignty projects started by Native entrepreneurs, chefs, growers, and organizers in their own businesses and the challenges these organizations with decolonial agendas face while being entangled with colonial and capitalist systems.

What do you do in your downtime?

I love to boulder! I work at a climbing gym in what little spare time I have and enjoy being a part of fostering community there.
