The UConn Summer Interdisciplinary Ethnography Field School in Mauritius is a faculty-led summer program for students looking for hands-on field experience and interested in interdisciplinary social scientific research.

Students from the 2023 summer season compiled their experiences in "Day in the Life of a Field School Student" to give prospective students an idea of what to anticipate from the program. Field trips, data collection, and leisure time are just a few adventures to expect. Submit an application before February 1st to be considered, which can be found on the Experiential Global Learning website. Any additional questions can be sent to xygalatas@uconn.edu.
