What sparked your interest in Anthropology/Archaeology?
I always loved sociology and psychology, but anthropology added the intercultural aspect that intrigued me to the point of pursuing it.
Where are you/will you be conducting your research/fieldwork?
Shenzhen, China, hanging out in coffee and milk tea shops, interviewing gamers about video game addicts who definitely aren’t them.
What do you find most interesting about your field work/research location?
The language, and other things I can’t confirm yet.
What is your most memorable experience in the field so far, or most memorable lesson learned?
Most memorable experience: being locked in my building multiple times during zero-covid.
