Research Interests
I am interested in how human biodiversity is influenced by social forces such as racism, economic inequality, and disparities in healthcare access and quality. My work seeks to understand how these forces become biologically embodied, driving health disparities across communities and becoming a public health issue.

Where will you be conducting your research?
My fieldwork will be conducted in Brazil, focusing on communities in the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and São Paulo.
What do you do in your downtime?
